This 2024 Concept Companies celebrates 20 years of innovation, growth, and impact. Founded in 2004, Concept Companies began as Concept Construction of North Florida and has since grown into a nationwide, full-service, real estate development company recognized as trusted experts and preferred developers across multiple sectors including education, multi-family housing, hospitality, retail, office, industrial, life science, healthcare, and technology. Our team, many of whom remember the days where meetings occurred gathered around founder Brian Crawford’s kitchen table, has grown to over 80 employees with office locations in Gainesville and Jacksonville. Together we have developed over 10 million square feet in over 300 projects around the southeastern United States. 

Throughout the year we will reflect on our journey, and share the history and progress that has made us into who we are today. We will highlight the incredible talent and dedicated individuals who have made this possible, and the relentless efforts of our team to establish Concept as a leader in seven different development sectors. 

We begin by unveiling a commemorative logo to mark this significant occasion. Our new 20th Anniversary logo encapsulates the essence of our journey, core values, and the playful spirit that defines Concept Companies. Developed by our very own in-house talent, Adam Gayle, principal of Level Design and Architecture, the logo nods to the art of Czek artist Ales Bask Hostomsky (Bask) whose custom, one-of-a-kind pieces can be found throughout the Concept headquarters in Gainesville. With a “street art” feel that speaks to the “for public consumption” aspect of Concept’s development projects, the 20th-anniversary logo represents the community-driven mission for all of Concept’s work. The company remains dedicated to “creating environments that enhance, empower and inspire” with every effort geared toward “enriching people’s lives by developing spaces and places that cultivate a healthier tomorrow.”
